The Fake Development
We Live on Earth, which is geologically divided into 7 continents or 195 countries. Different countries have different History, cultures, traditions and these historic, cultural and traditional differences define or somewhere influence different aspects of their Education System, Political Agenda & Policies, Financial Policy, Foreign Policies and surely the thinking of mass living in the country.
This Article is about the illusion of development that we are experiencing in India, one of the so called emerging and growing economy and future super power. I have used the word illusion because today we are experiencing development as a propaganda that means shouting development without analysing what does development actually mean. And to my surprise from common man to the Leaders, no one understands the meaning or maybe they understand it but doesn’t want the nation to have a clear vision
India (Hindustan) as most of people of my generation know or connect to is from the year 1947, the year when we got Independence (May be because we have over-globalised it as our new chapter) . But I think we should try to understand India from a bit earlier because as they say history can teach us more than our futuristic imaginations can. Before British Rule India was ruled by Kings of different states. And before that by the Mughal Empire which was the Central Power of India to control the laws and rules in whole country. Somehow the Maharathas, Sikhs, Jatts and Rajputs managed to defeat the Mughals in 18th centuary. Changing the Power from Mughals to Kings of the States. French, Portuguese and British start coming to India for trade. And British who then was invading and ruling 9 out of 10 countries of the world (from Australia to US) made East India Company to manage all the trade between England and different countries of Asia including India. And gradually started participating in Indian affairs politically. And through their Divide and Rule policy between kings of states they gained control of India.
